Every year during the heating season, some residents enjoy warmth while others feel their slightly warm radiators and feel anxious. The editor told users that if the heating valve is closed or there is air accumulation in the heating system, the problem of heating not being hot can be solved by themselves.
If the user discovers that the radiator is not hot, they should first determine the range of non hot heating, and then check whether the inlet and outlet valves of the heating system in the non hot area are open. Rotate the valve handwheel by hand to open it. In general, valves are marked with the letters "O" and "S", where "O" represents open and "S" represents closed. If there is no letter identification, counterclockwise rotation indicates open and clockwise rotation indicates closed. If the valve is already open and the radiator is still not hot or half of it is not hot, or if the radiator often makes a noticeable sound of water flow, there may be air inside the radiator and it needs to be deflated.
Method 1: First, close the inlet valve of the radiator, open the exhaust valve, and exhaust until there is stable water flow. Then, tighten the exhaust valve to complete the exhaust.
Method 2: Close the inlet valve of the radiator by 3/4, then close the return valve, open the vent valve for exhaust, close the vent valve when water flows out, and then open the return valve and inlet valve.
If the radiator is still not hot after the above treatment, it indicates that there are other problems with the system. At this time, the heating unit should be contacted to solve them.
